New Logbook and Ranking Season
We’d be remiss to get too far into the new Online Logbook and Ranking season without first congratulating everyone on a remarkable 2020/2021 Logbook season! The numbers don’t lie—our fabulous Online Logbook community has humbled us yet again with incredible dedication and commitment. Check out these stats for the year:
The 2021/2022 Online Logbook and Ranking Season began May 1 and will include all metres accumulated on the RowErg, SkiErg or BikeErg from May 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022. As of May 1, the previous 12 months of workout data will be archived on your History page in the 2020/2021 Season. Your lifetime metres get carried forward to the new online logbook year.
You might be wondering why the online logbook and ranking year starts on May 1. The history is rooted in the indoor race season. On water athletes train on the RowErg in their off-season and to celebrate the end of the training season, they often attend competitive indoor races. The indoor rower race season runs from September to March. We start the ranking season on May 1 every year so that indoor race results can be included.
The start of the ranking year is a great time to set some goals. How many metres would you like to accumulate this year? Have you toyed with the idea of completing an online challenge? Have you been meaning to learn more about the free Online Logbook and create one of your own? The Online Logbook is your silent training partner and will help you keep track of your metres, analyze your progress, take part in challenges, and compare your results against others worldwide.
So, happy rowing, skiing and riding this new ranking year! Remember, you can upload your results either manually in your Online Logbook, or sync them automatically using our free ErgData app. Please refer to the Logbook and Rankings FAQs for additional helpful information.
